The Gospel writer, Luke, continues to introduce us to Jesus. This week Jesus begins his public ministry and with a distinguished reputation preceding him, he makes his first trip to his hometown of Nazareth to preach and minister. It does not go well as the Nazarenes drive Jesus out of town. Join Pastor Greg as he shares how we can get a better handle on God's grace and not become like the Nazarenes.

The Gospel writer, Luke, continues to introduce us to Jesus. In the passage he shares how Jesus was tempted by the devil and how Jesus was able to overcome those temptations. Join Pastor Greg as he shares the three general areas the devil will tempt us and, using Jesus as a model, how we can combat temptation in our lives.

In continuing to introduce Jesus to his readers, Luke shares about Jesus' baptism and the words of encouragement he receives in a voice from heaven. Join Pastor Greg as he shares how these three truths in what Jesus hears can help us to make a spiritual reboot in our own lives and encourage us in the faith.

In introducing Jesus, Luke reveals a grown-up John the Baptist roaming the countryside preaching the good news and preparing people's hearts for the arrival of the Messiah. Join Pastor Greg as he shares John's warnings to the people and his words of exhortation.
