How Do You Like Your Fish?

John 21.1-19

Rev. Greg Wissinger

After Jesus' resurrection he appeared to the disciples a couple of times. Despite their initial feelings of joy, they were unsure of what to do next. Perhaps dealing with depression, cynicism, or shame, they retreated to their former way of living. What do we do when our fondest dreams fall apart? Join Pastor Greg as he shares from this scripture what we can do when life is not making sense.

On the first evening after being resurrected, Jesus appeared to his disciples, but one disciple, Thomas, was not with them. Thomas would not take the others' word that Jesus had been raised from the dead. When Jesus appeared to them again a week later, Thomas was able to see for himself the resurrected Christ and proclaim, "My Lord and My God." But where was Thomas that first appearance? Why was he absent? What thoughts might Thomas have been wrestling with during that week? Join Pastor Greg as he shares how we might move forward with our lives when we feel like we've missed out on God's blessing in some way.

Join Pastor Greg as he shares how the resurrection story shows us how we can enjoy life to the fullest.
