One of the most amazing statements of faith in the bible is Mary's affirmation to the angel's announcement that a child would be miraculously conceived in her who would become the Son of God. This particular act of faith is highlighted in her life, but throughout the Gospels Mary displays an admirable faith, which took root in this one encounter with an angel.
