The Israelites have been years in Babylonian captivity wondering if they are still God's chosen and if they will ever return to their homeland. As a nation they have wondered aloud, "The Lord has forsaken me, the Lord has forgotten me." (Isaiah 49.14). God responds with some images that affirm his love for his people and his commitment to their welfare. Join Pastor Greg as he shares how Jesus displayed a similar image to his disciples that also declared God's love and care for all people and how we can respond to that love.

Isaiah sings a song about God and his people using the imagery of a vineyard. The song begins wonderfully but the it (and the grapes) turn sour as Isaiah prophecies destruction ahead for God's people. Join Pastor Greg as he share how Jesus adopts the imagery of Isaiah' song to share with his disciples how they can avoid the path of their forebears and have a fruitful life.

Join Pastor Greg in this series called Vision Problems as he identifies those spiritual problems in our life which keep us from clearly seeing and understanding God, His world, and ourselves as they really are.....and looking to Jesus for the cure.
